Happy Halloween!!

BOO!!

Cousin Ellis is really excited to see me. Actually, it might be because he had just found out that he passed the SC Bar Exam a few minutes before.

Jane Harrison and Cousin Ellis came to see me, and to see Ole Miss thump Auburn. Cousin Ellis was a little distracted at the time.

Bess seemed a little reluctant to hold me at first, but how could she resist?

Here I am with Marjon. She cooked a yummy dinner for my parents and Mammy last night.

Scout, Mommy, and Daddy took me on my first walk. I really liked my new wheels, though I think I slept the whole time.

Some more of my parents' friends came to visit me today. Here I am with Ann and Rebecca.

You might get the impression that I sleep all the time, so I insisted that Daddy post these ...

I'm one week old!

I like to sleep, especially when my parents are awake.

Here I am at the computer dictating my thoughts to Daddy so he can update the blog.

My bassinet has been in the family for years. My daddy and my uncles Chris and Tom slept here before I did! There's my dolly, Huggums! Thanks French!

Mom and Dad's friend Anna gave me this extra snuggly Moses basket.

I wanted to show yall my room. My Mommy, Daddy, Mammy, and Aunt Rosemary worked real hard to make it perfect for me.

Some more visitors came to see me today. This is my Great-Aunt Rosemary and Great-Uncle Jimmy. They drove over from Corinth.

I don't think Aunt Rosemary likes it when I exercise my lungs. That rose directly behind them was today's altar rose at my church, St. Peter's.

I think my Mamma loves me
