I know that it is gauche in the blogosphere to respond to your own post, but I hear that you have a new tooth! Your mother and father haven't been good about updating the blog.
I remember when I got my first tooth, though. Here's what you do. First, you should cry a lot, because those things hurt coming out. Second, take that single tooth and gnaw on something; don't be embarrassed, I've gnawed on many a plastic chew toy in my day. Third, start working on your first word. And--finally!--stay precious. Hopefully, I will see you soon.
